Kicking off on Saturday 11th April and running until 19th April, RISO CLUB 100 celebrates over 100 publications with a ten-day programme of workshops, demos and tours, as well as an exhibition showcasing the work of over 400 artists at The Glue Factory.

Our top tips for your weekend of art and art-adjacent activity in Glasgow…
Thursday, 9th April
💫 Today from 1-2:30pm, get over to Mono to see a new exhibition by Project Ability, in collaboration with Counterflows.
💫 And this evening, a new exhibition opens at Horsepower: Unidentified Fabulating Object by India Boxall, from 6-8pm.
💫 After that, head to 5 Florence Street for Cryptic Nights: Ricochet, an immersive light and sound installation by Paul Russel from 7-9pm. Tickets just £5 and available here.
Friday, 10th April
💫 It’s a big Friday night! Kick it off at Boardroom Committeeroom for their first exhibition of the year, Systems in Collapse by Toby Messenger, opening from 6-8pm.
💫 And just down the road at Govan Project Space, also from 6-8pm, the opening of For people who find television too slow, a solo show by Liam Allan.
💫 Head over to SaltSpace to see things stripped from a body by Amy Green, from 6-9pm.
💫 Finally, check out Meredith Donnachie’s new exhibition, Pharmacritical, opening at R.A.T. from 6-9pm.
Saturday, 11th April
💫 An afternoon opening at the Glasgow Gallery: Stone & Bloom by Erraid Gaskell, Charmaine Boyle & Greer Ralston, from 2-4pm
💫 Stop by Civic House from 11:00am-5:30pm for Like Ancient Drops in Future Tides, a screening, talk and workshop exploring storytelling and landscapes. Free tickets and vegan food provided!
💫 Join Strange Exchange for Pulp Gardens, a free, drop-in paper pulp sculpture workshop led by Ruby Pester, from 11-4pm.
💫 At Broadside from 3-5pm, celebrate the launch of Abolishing Capitalist Totality. Editors and contributors will discuss the book and its ideas, and the book will be available to purchase at a special price!
💫 There’s still tickets available for the Counterflows Saturday night party at The Art School, with sets from Alliyah Enyo, SEEKERINTERNATIONAL and Mother.
Sunday, 12th April
💫 On Sunday afternoon, head to Civic House for the Counterflows Small Publisher Fair from 12-5pm. Free entry, with food from MILK, DJ sets from Han and Sadsugar, and lots of records, zines, tapes, merch, etc. for sale!

💫 Feel like a daytrip? Head to IKEA (!!!) to discover migrating stories by Penelope Gardner, on view until 24th April.
💫 Or, if you haven’t yet, head to Edinburgh to see RSA New Contemporaries 2026, which showcases exciting new work from emerging artists across the country. On view until 22nd April.
